My cousins have a band.Their drummer was absent.So I had to sub in. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not a superb drummer. I can just play it. Nikko would’ve subbed in but he tells me “My heart is with the guitars”. ……………. My comment resides in my self. That isn’t my drumset by the way neither do I own one. It belongs to the rehearsal studio we rented just so the band could practice. I had to stomp harder on the bass drum than I normally would because it was too far! The bass drum wasn’t sliding away because of the vibration from the beating. It was JUST really too far I couldn’t pull it any closer towards me! Whyyyy… T_T My right leg had a hard time. I stomped literally on the pedal and I thought I’d sprained my ankle a bit but 24 hours later I had to put medicated plaster on both my ankle and my leg. I swear if I have to play the drums like this permanently my right leg will grow to be like Son Goku’s. Moral Lesson: Don’t be afraid to ask if you can move/rearrange the drums! Regardless of the tad bit suffering I experienced, I had fun and if it were up to me at that time, we would’ve extended for another hour. (^_^)v But I still hope their drummer would be able to practice with them next week.
